Starting out

If I had it my way, I'd be stuck in a movie version of one endless summer of 1987: Living in suburbs in a some major american city in a white house with white picket fence, with weird neighbours, an inventor friend / daddy, go to a beach party, throw some hoops etc. I'd ride my BMX with my friends, one of which would be a nerdy one, one who likes to eat all the time and together we'd build our own secret hideout in a 2-minute montage. My mixed-breed english shepherd dog would always follow me wherever I go.

There'd be a gang of eighties badasses riding pimped out badass cars always giving us a hard time, but in the end we'd overcome them, making them accidentally trash their cars and get them arrested by two goofy detectives.

You see, I love everything about 80s, music, movies, games, comics, toys - you name it. There was such a good vibe and faith in the future to be awesome that was lost some way along the way in the ever so boring nineties.

This blog is me watching every 80s movie I can find, in that matrix of 1987.
